So, you’ve probably been wondering what I’ve been doing the past months. Well, my wedding season has started and I’m not as much on the road as I have been last year, but that didn’t stop me from organizing some inspiration shoots. Today I can finally show you one of them that I did back in May. You have to wait a little more for the other one, I’m sorry :)
I went through many online shops to look for some nice dresses (for myself) and I came across a dress, that I completely fell in love with. Actually, I immediately thought this could be a lovely bridal dress for a free-minded and free-spirited bride. It’s not a dress that most of the people would consider a wedding dress, but seriously – you don’t have to spend a 1000€ on a dress, if that’s not for you. There are many pretty alternatives nowadays. But here’s the bad side of this story – you could only buy it online (they didn’t have it in their stores) and then it was impossible to be delivered right in time for the shoot that I had already set a date for. Oh boy. So I went to one of their stores and bought another one. This is probably even less something that people would consider a wedding dress but seriously? I’d love to have a bride to wear these kinds of dresses!
THIS is what bohemian is about – not many lace details, not too many fringes hanging around, but rather not thinking about what other people say and just wear a dress, that you love and to be free.
So the next time you’re in your favorite clothing store, have a look around and maybe it’ll pops up right before your eyes: your dress!
(Also watch out for part two of this shoot, a little more casual styled portraits, which I will show you in a few days!)
